We had a good easy flight to Denver super early Friday morning. Snow had just fallen (and continued to fall the entire weekend) so it was freezing! I'm talking 7deg at one point. We stopped at Denver Chophouse & Brewery on our way to Black Hawk where they brew their own beer in house. We tried them all... and had the best white cheddar mashed potatoes of my life - along with a salmon BLT and steak. Yum. After a night of gambling, and subsequently losing, comically small bottles of Tabasco were served with our room service and I couldn't help but laugh. I also think this was the first time I ever have ordered room service - and we were watching Harry Potter so obviously, it was a good night! I wore my gameday socks only to watch us lose on Saturday. Sad day. We will play in the Holiday Bowl versus Cal which should be a good game (or so ESPN told me!). Skiing was fun Saturday, freezing, but fun. We warmed up Saturday night with more Roulette (broke even!) and casino buffet. Sunday, in finishing up our tour of Denver dining (I promise we did other things besides eat!), we did our yearly trek to Pho 95. It was just as delicious as I remember.
