I'm momentarily protesting the onset of summer. Granted, I chose to move to Houston where Fall and Spring don't exist but this heat is getting out of hand. I have a love/hate relationship with the constant presence of t-shirts and shorts but even that can't deter me from cooking chili when it's 80+ degrees outside. Apparently we like to sweat.
I bought and followed the recipe on the back of this box plus added a diced onion, hot rotel, and white kidney beans. Topped with cheese and served with chips, this hit the spot (and more than likely, the last time chili will cross these lips until our next 6 weeks of winter in 2013). Ah, never say never.
